| Well, it is time to update this profile, as I hadn't changed it since my "sophomore year at UK" which was, oh, '01-'02. Yikes. I'm currently a seminary student at Lexington Theological Seminary, going on my second year as an M. Div. student, and yes, I do believe I am still good friends, or should I say GOO! friends with the people in this group (well, the ones I still talk to.) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I discovered Seti@home from Nathan, our group founder. He had a funky screen saver...I guess it was nearing the end of our Junior year of high school, or the summer thereafter. I figured I would throw it on my computer...and so to this day I am still running it (*update, I'm now running BOINC since they're shutting down the seti classic project...it's a sad sad day.) Although leaving my first computer on 24/7 for over a year pretty much killed it, my laptop is still surviving (actually now my desktop is surviving and the laptop is in retirement), and is devoted to the cause. May the competition continue, and the aliens will be found (isn't timmy an alien?) |
