| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I started running SETI@Home for the cool screensaver, and my interest was revived many years ago when a group of forum regulars at DSL Reports decided that running SETI@Home as a team might be fun to do. Our goal was to make the top 200 teams, and we ended up ranked as high as fifth!
A group of us moved on recently from their limited team to form Team Starfire World BOINC, with the goal of being the #1 BOINC team in the world. Our hearts are still with SETI@Home though. |
