Personal background
I'm currently an AIT student at The Graduate Centre of Applied Technology. Upon Completion I plan to go into networking somewhere around Ontario, Canada. When that happens I know I still will be intereested in Seti@Home and will institute it into every computer that I possible can.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes I do think that extraterrestrial life exists, it's just where to look to find it that we haven't figured out yet. With such a large amount of space there has to be other life out there SOMEWHERE. I also think it is a good idea for humans to send a beacon out to other civilizations in hopes of contact. Even though it would take a signal millions of years to reach even the closest planet it still seems worth it just incase someone is in the neighborhood. I run Seti@Home in hopes that it will someday help Humans in finding other life forms or anything else interesting that may be out there. Even though there are many sponsors that sponsor Seti@Home I still think that there are many more large corporations out there that could spare a few extra CPU cycles to a good cause.
