Personal background
I live in the UK in Northen Ireland the place with all the bombs. :P
I'm 15 and I have been using a computer for the past 10 years :)

I currently am working to pay for a deal that my phone company is running to get free internet calls. (We pay a certain amount of money and get free calls throughout the day)

I love Star Wars and its partly got me intrested in SETI the other part and slightly crazy part was when I was star gazing one night and something shot across the sky stopped, for a few seconds and then carried on on its original course. I can't claim it was an alien spaceship or anything it could be some freak metorite or something but I know what I saw.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I can't say if I believe in Aliens or not just curious was there any other life out there.. just in the of chance you know..

Should we transmit a signal. Well if you think of Independance day.. NO! If you think of Star Trek. HELL YEAH! And if you think of E.T. then eh.. eh... eh... something..

I run seti at home just to make my comp do something. I also run a cancer reserach program on it just to be nice ::) and you never know I might get cancer, so unless aliens come now and have the cure (or wrose they contract all our diseases and we get theirs then theres no point in having cancer reserach.. heh.. oh well) I might as well run it.. Theres no harm in running a program that annalyises data from a radio telescope.
