| I am Nasim Shamlou, aka Argentum. I was born in Iran and lived there until I was almost 10, then moved to Finland and when I was almost 18, moved to Canada... but now I'm back in Finland. I study in highschool at the moment for the fourth year and am trying to get into the university to study information management, computer science or material science. I would like to study astro-chemistry, but unfortunately it isn't a complete area of study in Finland, hopefully it will be during my life-time. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Seti@home is a nice thought. I'm still uncertain as to whether it really calculates all the things it says it does, and etc.. or is it a military operation :-) but I still counting eagerly, hoping that whatever purpose it is for, it is for the best. :-)
I love science, and especially space science, so by participating in the seti@home project I hope I'm contributing something worth while.
I do believe that there are other life forms in this universe, regardless of all the disappointing research done in space to prove this. |
