I play jazz saxophone and run marathons. But I can't make any money at any of that so my day job is computer analyst.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
God is a creator. He created us and I don't see any reason to think we are either His first or His last creation. Surely there are others out there. We might be able to detect them but it seems that the speed of light would prohibit any meaningful communication with them using current technology. The odds against finding anyone are incredible but I'm always ready to support a lost cause. So I run seti@home.
