I for one do believe that there is extraterrestrial life. The question of the inteligence of that life remains the question that we are looking to answer.
I have chosen to run SETI@home for the simple reason that when my laptop has down time while plugged in at home or work it might as well be doing something, it cost me enough so it better start working 24/7!
