Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Maybe there is something out there, the probablity that intelligent life exists on another planet in this universe is phenominally high... and who knows, maybe somewhere a few hundred million light years away someone else is staring up at the sky wondering "Is there anyone else out there?"

After one too many Hollywood blockbusters about invaders from outer space, many of us imagine other 'life-forms' to be inimical to the human race - to be fair, is there anything they could do to us we haven't already tried to do to ourselves?

Whilst the possibility of another encountering another 'space-faring' exists, the probability is that it won't occur in my life-time. But maybe, just maybe it could be that SETI data *I* have processed leads to first contact.

Well I can dream can't I?
