What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery? possible benefits:
1)A new racial minority we can make fun of , An american an Englishman and an Alien walk into a bar........
2)I can finally use the line...."hey baby, ever done it with a human before?..."
Dangers:
1)Brand new technologies render my new PC obsolete.
2)They meet John Howard (prime minister of Australia) first, then leave again deciding to wait for our species to develop some intelligence.
3)New sexual harassment laws mean we can't talk about tentacles like they are just "pieces of meat".
4)My vintage Star Wars collection becomes worthless when we learn from our new friends that Darth Vader doesn't really exist.
5)Aliens really love crappy American sitcoms so we must air them constantly for their amusement, oh wait, we are already subjected to bad american TV 24hrs a day.
