I'm a 58 year old Technology Planning Consultant with avocational interests in Amateur Astronomy and Constructed Languages. I have a PhD in Computer Science and am pursuing a Masters in Astonomy. I have been a TeamSETI member since 2000 and a SETI@Home participant since 1999.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am convinced of the probability of extraterestrial life, but because of the vast distances involved, have little confidence that we will ever find each other. Nevertheless, I support SETI's efforts and eagerly participate because it would be irresponsible of us not to try.
