Over 22 years I've been working for the MILITARY, AND THE LAST 15 YEARS OR MORE for the DOD . Ex-member of USAF . Specialize in the communication field . I've been tracking this project very closely, and it's very interesting . Keep going like the movie First Contact !!! :) . WHO KNOWS ? :) .
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I know that they exist, there is no danger to the discovery, humans will discover it by the same procedure in First Contact . In my opinion, there are more benefits than dangers . Dangers are created by those who try to hide the truth . As far As I know the infinite clean energy sources, and to learn to handle control magnetic field . 2- Humans can transmit a beacon to others to find/but/the reality is around the corner . Send thru binary code/use combination of numbers/basic description civilization/technology advancements .
3. I run Seti@Home because I know by fact, that this is the truth . (View)It is the only of a kind . Main Suggestion, good friends. Expand the field, to others observatories, try to be more fix in finding the signal, not like wide-spread radar looking for dots in the sky , use more precise and powerfull transmitters . Its possible to transmit data thru beam of light . And the last thing before leaving, try the (Zeta Reticuli Area) :).
