Personal background |
I'm 22, and work in IT at Deakin University in Melbourne Australia. I recently built my first home PC (P4 3.0Ghz, 1GB RAM, All the toys) and decided that for the most part, if I wasn't gaming or rendering something in 3D studio max, that my processor would be going to waste. I'd heard about SETI@home from some mates, and decided that this would indeed be a most worth while cause to devote my beast of a PC to.
In my spare time I am a Scout Leader with the 11th Box Hill Scout Group and I am also a Rover Scout with Hatfield Rover Crew. I enjoy camping and hiking and generally getting out of the city as much as I can. Other than that, it's relaxing in front of the TV or being with my friends and family. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Extraterrestrial life HAS to exist. It is extremely naive of us to think we are alone in the universe. A great wish of mine is to see us make peaceful contact with a race from the stars before I die... perhaps my little contribution to SETI@home will help to facilitate this dream... |
