Profile: Adam Pollock

Personal background
My name is Adam Pollock, I'm a student at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where I major in Mass-communication and History. Let's see, what else, as if anyone is going to read this, I was born in 1980 so you can do the math. I encourage everyone to plug in a SETI client and let your CPU find our cosmic friends.

Oh, and I think the people who put this project together are super cool :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Seti@Home is perhaps the most innovative project ever undertaken within the realm of science. Never before have so many regular people been able to directly and truly constructively contribute to an effort of scientific discovery. Whether the project is successful in locating extraterrestrial life or not, it has to be attempted so that the next generation of searchers can build on what we, the users who contribute time, energy and CPU cycles to the project and the wonderful people who put this project together in the first place, have come together to accomplish.

Thank you Seti science people!!!
