| I am 33 years old, and live in Central Illinois. I am using a hewlitt packard 8670c 500 mhz system. I have three children ranging in ages 13 to 3. It has often been a dream of mine that within my lifetime we will find intelligent life out there somewhere. It is simply a matter of time......... |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I do believe that there is life out there, and feelt that within the next 30 years we will find it. By finding life outside of the realm of what we know as reality, I feel we will learn even more about ourselves. I believe we should continue to send our message into space. As far as what we should send, well I believe we should send bits of our daily lives, whether it be an episode of The Brady Bunch, or a speech from JFK. Words from the queen of England, heck even an episode of South Park. As weird as that sounds, who is to say that some thing out there has not already watched South Park? I run this program on my system in the hope and desire to be a part of the biggest historical event in my lifetime. I am amazed to see that SETI has reached this point to where the people of the planet can team up to search for the unkown........ |
