I am a mathematics teacher in Maryland, originally from the University of New Hampshire. I have always believed in extra-terrestrial life and think that our pursuit here, although so far fruitless in its original goal, has been teaching us a great deal more about the universe in which we live.
All too often, we think about our infinitely small microcosm and our individual wants. We must teach the next generation about selflessness and how to think about global dynamics. This will help us achieve true paradise. |
