Personal background
I have been interested in all things 'space' and 'aliens' for as long as I can remember.
Addicted to computers, I thought this would be a good way to combine both interests.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There HAS to be another form of life somewhere in the vast wastes of the universe.
What swung it for me, was hearing something on a documentary years ago as follows...
"There are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on all the
beaches on Earth!"
If you think about this for a second, each star is the equivalent to,
or much more vast than our own Sun, and each could have its own solar system!

There is just too much scope for there not to be other, intelligent life out there.

I will continue to participate in the project until life is found or the project
is ended...
