I'm a 24 year old from Germany. I work as a systemadministrator on various UNIX systems for one of the big Media Companys worldwide.
In my free time I like to meet and party with my friends, cruising with my car, reading, do some sports (running, American football), listening to music, blogging (<a>http://www.salid.de/~salid/log/[/url]) and helping in the community of a famous german fantasy author.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. Why do you run SETI@home?
I think there is life in outer space. Maybe they're on a higher technological status as we are, maybe they're on the same level, maybe they're actually not further than this planet was 10 million years ago. But nevertheless we have to try to get in contact with them.
2. What are your views about the project?
Seti@Home is one of the best idea to particpate in a scientific project. I can do some work, which maybe helps to get in touch which a complete new species. And if not, well, it was great fun. |
