| A quick blurb. My name is Randy, I'm single, 33 years old and live in Canada's National Capital region otherwise known as the city of Ottawa. I work as a Network Specialist/Server Operations consultant. I enjoy golfing and playing pool or just firing up the BBQ and having a few pints with friends. Anyway, hoping one day life on another planet is no longer simply a dream. Could be interesting. Of course knowing humans will stir up a big pot of war with'em anyway. If we can't get along with each other, how do we expect to get along with another species. Oh well... I'm sure they'll dominate us with their advanced technology and crush us and and use the survivors as slaves, if were lucky to even survive... hahaha |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Extraterrestrial life absolutely exists. We would have to be pretty naive to be believe that with all that space out there in the universe, we are the only planet to have life on it. Seems like a lot of wasted space if that were true.
I run SETI to be apart of a group which hopes that maybe one day we will discover that tiny blip that will let us know we are not alone. I do wish I had more computers to run it on though...... :) |
