Personal background
Hi! I'm a Computer Science student. I live in Verona, Italy. I like astronomy since the age of 3, and I've had my first telescope at the age of 7.

Nowadays I'm working as a system administrator and web designer and I run a small web portal for students at my University.

I'm also collecting books and on-line manuals about as many computer-related subjects I can.

I am trying to create an on-line reference for everybody needs documentation or manuals in my University and perhaps also elsewhere.

I think this is a very important thing: we must collect as much information we can in electronic format, so that it can be made free to everybody and it can be easily archived and reproduced.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there's life outside earth, somewhere else. There MUST be life. I think we will discover it, and I hope I'll still be here when this will happen (ok, just 23 years old, but years have no influence on astronomical scale).

I hope they will be so different from us that human will feel to be very similar one another. So similar that racism and religion won't be reasons for war anymore.

I run Seti@home to help this search, because I think that passive search (listening) is the best thing we should do, at now.
Only a couple of suggestions: make Seti@home opensource and make it single-instance parallel (I'd like to run it on a Linux Beowulf cluster)
