I started in computers early (around 10 yo) thanks to two influential tv programs / films. Firstly, there was Whizz Kids, and then the classic film War Games. Since these times, I have been hooked and online!
Today, we are finally beginning to realise the visions of those who saw the future before us - which have ultimately lead us to the creation of the planet-wide computer, also known as SETI@HOME.
It is an honour and a privilage to have been part of this from the start (almost), and to continue now with BOINC, and I am looking forward to the next 5 years! |
