Profile: Richard Roman

Personal background
Engineer in Computer Technology, Astronomy is my mot appreciated hobby, though I do not take so many opportunities out at night with a Celestron C114 GT updated with a Philips ToUCam and Astrostack/Registax on my PC.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
One of the most interesting revolutions for humankind could be capturing a sound of ETI.

Evaluating the eventuality of a positive result allows me to little by litlle develop my knowledge in all the parameters required for this to happen.

The other more pragmatic approach being to study our local system's planets and satellites for traces of geological / chemical evolution.
