Think of pristine Island eco-system... now think introduced species... % Chance of it being beneficial? % Chance of it all going down the pan? % Chance of us all living happily ever after?
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
Only if we have a very good plan on what to do if it gets replied to.
Why do you run SETI@home?
I like to get involved, do my bit.. it will be found sometime lets try and make it sooner rather than later, and wouldn't it be nice to be the one who found it. |
