I was born on 1st January 1981. One of the coldest nights in Athens at that time.
I am an enthusiastic aviator from Island of Crete (Kriti), Greece. I have been working as Cabin Crew in our national public airline (until it was closed and became private), Now studying about CPL and ATPL theories for becoming Professional Pilot. I am involved now with computers only to complete tasks regarding some audio and video stuff and also as a tool to find a good flight job abroads. I adore Finland, the land of 3000 lakes, ice and snow. Been living there for 5+ years. Maybe in the past i was a Viking (or Troll who knows!). Now i have my wings wide open and seeking for my place up to the skies. Let's see how it goes...
I speak Greek as my mother language. English, as fluent as i can. Finnish (Suomi) in average to good level. Some basic Russian and Serbian (Srpski) too. And now learning Thai. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I remember myself involving with SETI long time ago from a friend using it. I remember myself sitting outdoors during hot summer nights at the village where my parents live now watching the sky, the stars. It's at least selfish to say that in so many billion galaxies, in so many billion suns and planetary systems we are the only one to exist. Some people believe the theory of determination. That things have a definite order. Others the theory of chaos. That a series of mutations and random acts made us what we are. I think it's both combined.
I felt sad when i heard that SETI would stop because of lack of funds. I think people should know the truth or at least to live the chance of knowing even in very basic level that there are some others looking for us too or even can contact us in a way. Whole project is a very motivating idea. So i decided to dedicate myself totally attached only to it.
Suggestions... Not yet! You guys are doing a very good job. Keep up the good work. And make us believe! |
