Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I beleive that extraterrestrial life exists. I also feel that Seti is our best chance of discovering the existance of extraterrestrial intelligent life. That is why I joined this program. Before humans start transmitting a beacon to attract extraterrestrials, humans need to learn how to live on our planet together without war and violence. If we can not learn to live in peace on our own planet, we are less likely to be contacted by intelligent life of an extraterrestrial nature. Unless of course they are warlike and have come to earth to conquer. Advanced intelligent extraterrestrial life would probably study us before making a decision to allow their existance to be known by us.
