I am 66 year old Registered Professional Engineer #14426 from Mequon Wisconsin. I was married on Independence Day July 4, 1964 to my wife Penny (maiden name Nickel). Her license plate is SIX CENTS. We have two grown children and four grand daughters and one grandson.
I do consulting to the satellite industry and have eight large dishes in my back yard matrixed to 57 receivers and eight computers. You will see that I also design alarm systems and cooling water equipment for nuclear power plants in many countries.
I have been running SETI@home since it started on five computers.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I think extraterrestrial life exists. Our only contact with it will probably be one way by radio and separated by thousands of years. We will learn about our distant friends from what ever they are kind enough to send us.
Humans should transmit a beacon of information for others to find. Do on to others as you would have them do on to you.
I run SETI@home because I am an eternal optimist and believe that nothing ventured nothing gained.
