Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that Extraterrestrial life must exist.
We may discover them, or not at all. It may be too far, too late or too early, or they may communicate with strange means like gravitational waves...
The best way to search for them is EM or light waves tracking, but we need a steady global surveillance, alas we are very far from this.
Seti@Home only monitor one point at a time, and is not 24/24 7/7.
The danger ? it is like digging a beach of Normandie : you may find a bomb, very few chances that it explode.
I think that a warrior civilization can't be unite and last long.
