I started running SETI@home after I first heard about it on CNN. I thought this was a great project to donate computer down-time to.
I hope that some day this program will find evidence of extraterrestrial intelligence. If this happens, the SETI@home program gives anyone with a computer a chance to be part of a monumental discovery.
I hope after the data is completely examined that another project will be started to continue using the community that has made this project the success that it is.
