Personal background
I love in wisconsin USA. I work for a well established Insurance company where I am a desktop services technicion working with the mainframe. In my spare time I love to do mass computing. I have an entire bedroom in my house set aside for computers currently I have over 30 PII 400 and about 10 PIII 550 all of these are running 2k advanced server and are sorry to say but not working on seti@home right now. My main desktop machines are a dual athalon MP 2000 machine with 1GB of ram and a athalon xp 2200 with 512 of ram. My biggest hobby would be collecting MP3 music I have over 23,000 songs right now distributed across my server farm.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that life does exist becaouse it would be stupid for us to think that we are the only things out there when there are so many other stars and planets.

I think we should transmit something so that other people can find us otherwise it is kind of defeating the purpose of what this project is doing and that is finding and communicating with other life

I run seti becaouse my machines have nothing better to do and I think that it is a good project to run becaouse it has an actual reason behind unlike some other distributed computing projects that are out there right now
