Profile: Oor Wullie

Personal background
Helloo! I'm Wullie Wilson an' I am from the tiny village of Torphichen in West Lothian in Bonnie Scotland. Lucky me!. I'm a physically disabled person so I don't have an occupation as such, but I do have a rather extended list of hobbies. but the most important of which are Sci-Fi, reading, painting, woodcarving and talking about UFO's and the possibility of Alien visitation or contact.I am also -seriously middle-aged, married with two teenage children and a dog.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
[1] Do Extra-terrestrial life forms exist?. Of course. Our cosomos is vast and contains billions upon billions of worlds. Life is not a random factor and it does and will find a way to exist anywhere and within almost any environment. Believe me!, we are not alone!.
[2]Should human beings transmit a beacon. You betcha!, It is the only way that mankind will ever discover the truth. That we are not alone. We have a human need to know!. So what is wrong with trying to make contact with our cosmic family. If intelligent alien life forms were a direct threat to us, they would have done something about us long since.
[3]I want to be a part of the big picture, perhaps I'll never be a big part of the search for intelligent life within the universe, but I can contribute in this small way.So I run Seti@Home.,
