Personal background
1.If we are not in one big computer game, than it is possible to find E.T's or such. When will we discover them? Ha! Maybe never. I mean first, they don't have to use radio signals after all. They could for instance use telepathy, or something else to communicate. Second, as the last radio signals leave their home (because they use stuff like telepathy etc.) we keep looking somewhere else(other freq.), and may never know that they actually were sent.
Than again it doesn't have to bee as bad. Maybe tomorrow, maybe50 years from now. God only knows.
2.Yes, but not a beacon. Small spacecraft instead. Containing info such as:
a record with a few pieces of music, something "they" can smell (maybe parfume), a photo of: our planet, the view of the sky (seen from Earth at night time) a photo of humains (one of each gender); a small model of a space shuttle, probes of basic Earth's minerals and things like this. I mean we don't know what we will find out there. Will they comunicate with different smells, will they be able to see sound or to hear colours. That's my opinion.
3. I run it, because I believe. We can't be the sole island of life amongst all this... nothingness. The project itself is nice and all, but... If we find these "aliens" the government of the US. Will never allow to inform ANYBODY but themselves about it. We might have allready found them (but will never know). A suggestion? Keep up the good work, and... "MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU".
