Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The odds are pretty good that ETs exist.
There are also pretty good odds that they will destroy our planet,
either intentionally or accidently.

I ask: Why go looking for them? Why bring them here?

CURIOSITY!
How many people's deaths have been prefaced by the thought:
"Huh. I wonder . . . "

That's why we do this. Even if it ends all Life.
"Huh. I wonder if we're alone."

I jus' hope for the best.

I run SETI@home because it's cool . . . in a nerdy way.
