Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that life exists somewhere else. I'm not sure how much like us they may or may not be. I expect that in the next 60
years we will discover it. I think the ramifications will be extraordinary. Theology will need to be done over again, creation, our place within it.
I expect that if intelligent life does exist, and they are at least as advanced as we are, then they must also be looking for us....so, maybe the question should be "When do you think we will be discovered?"
