I'm 65 years old, a security officer/emt at a local casino...I enjoy reading just about anything in science fiction/fantasy, history, political science, oddities, space...I'm retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service..I was an EMT on an ambulance for almost 20 years...married for 40 years..one son, who is a ryans resturant manager in lake jackson texas and just loving it. We have just come thru the worst natural disaster to strike the u.s., hurricane katrina. I live in biloxi, ms and stayed here in my house for the hurricane. If anyone would like the true story of the damage to the "real gulf coast"...just drop me a line...I run setiathome because I am a firm believer that we are not alone in the universe. as carl sagan has one of his characters in "contact" say, "if we are alone, then it's an awful waste of space." i firmly agree. I have been interested in extraterrestrial life since I was approximately 9 years old. Just didn't have the math background to study astronomy. think the project is great and have no suggestions
