| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I do believe there is some kind of extraterrestial life out there. While it may not be intelligent life it is still life. I don't think we will find ET's in my life time, but eventually our paths will cross. I can't help but feel such a discovery would be beneficial, but hopefully mankind will have matured enough to handle such a revelation.
I think we should let others know that we are here and perhaps we will be ready to hear from other beings. Classic Star Trek episodes.
I run SETI because it makes me feel like I am a scientist contributing to a world-wide effort to find ET's. I think it is very worthwhile project will minimal effort. |
