Do I think other life exists? Of course. Humans will discover it by the lifeforms actually come to us. Benefits could be technology, and dangers... hrm, intergalactic war. Humans are afraid of what's different. So they should be afraid of the "aliens"? I dont think so, but that wont stop them from being afraid.
2. I think we should transmit a beacon, but i dont know what type of info you should send. Maybe info on humans development? Spark interest in these lifeforms.
3. I ran it because I though it would be cool to be part of this project. I don't know of the chances of detecting aliens, maybe they dont want to be found? |
