Personal background
Started running SETI@home on my Linux server on 13 Jun 1999. At the time I was living in UK, where I grew up, and joined the LinuxUK team. This was an attempt to match the LinuxFR effort, but we only ever had 10-12 members.

SETI ran on my server for a number of years until I had a hard drive crash and lost everything. It wasn't until 12 Oct 2006 when I received an email from SETI@home, that I remembered I had forgotten to reload it. Now the new BOINC software is running on my server and on my home desktop too.

Since 2003 I have lived in the US, but with strong ties to the UK. I am now a member of the UK BOINC Team.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Always had a fascination with space and would love to finally prove that life exists somewhere else in this cold universe!
