Hi!
My name is Kurt and I come from a small town in Germany, near Dusseldorf.
O.k., it's not _that_ small, we have a population of about 150.000...
I was born in January 1969, I am not married and have no children.
I am working as a system-operator for printing-preparations and printing at the German Mail. We produce letters, bills and many more printed-matters for several companies in and outside Germany, such as insurance-companies, telecommunication-companies, banks and more...
In my free-time I am a voluntary Paramedic-EMT at the German Red Cross.
I also do webmastering and lead the "purchasing-department" of this organization in our town...
I also love computing, homepage-design, music (celtic & scottish, piano & guitar), movies, cycling, Finland and Sweden, Ireland and Scotland, and just hanging-around ;-) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I really believe, that there are other life-forms out there, though I don't know, how they could look like... And I also believe, that we will never know, if there are, if we don't search for them. That's why I support the SETI@home-project!
I also think, that it would be great arrogance to believe, that we are the only ones in the wide, wide universe. Finally we are just like a drop of water in the huge ocean "universe"... |
