I just like to have my computer always being totally utilizied and I am interested in UFO's. I am 29 and live in the So Cal area. I am a computer tech and play ALOT of Worlds of Warcraft.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI because I like to have my computer always doing something. Also I am interested in UFO reasearch. And I like the idea be distributed computing. I think the project is a very worth while idea. Sugestions.. I think that users should download bigger size data packets (maybee make it an option) and that the client should start downloading the next data packet when the current one is at about 75-80% complete. That way the client can be already working on the next data unit while it tries to upload results to server. And if there are server or network porblems whem it tries to upload the client can continue to process while waiting for network conditions to improve.
