Personal background
I am currently attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney, majoring in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration. I am 26, and enjoy Astronomy, role-playing, volleyball, TV & movies, reading, and many other things.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) Yes, absolutely! I believe we will discover microbial life within the next decade. As for intelligent life, I'm not so sure how long it may be before we discover it or what ramifications it may hold.

2) I think that we, unintentionally, already are through our radio and television signals. As for what information should be sent - any and all possible information (good and bad) should be sent.

3) I feel that my spare processor time should be put to use and I also strongly believe in SETI's mission. This allows me to contribute to that mission since I cannot contribute monitarily or scientifically at this point.
