Profile: Bjarne H. Kristensen

Personal background
I was born in 1956 and lives today in Fredericia / Denmark.

I am woorking on a recykling fabric. It is very interesting, because it's in a small way deals with the problems future spacetrawelers has to deal with.

Like all of you, i am crazy with space. I'm happy and proud to be a part of the Seti Program, and with so many false "profets" talking about ekstraterrestrials without proof, we need the voice from true, hard sience to lead all true seeking people on Earth.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.) I think extraterrestrials exists. I belive Seti Program (or another radio source) will be the first to proff life outside Earth. I think the benefits and dangers are somehow two sides off the same coin. Maybe most religions never will be the same again. That could lead to some kind of worldrevolution. And after some time, people on Earth will understand, that we are human beings, living on a planet in time and space, before we are man or woman - black or white - Jesus or Muhammed.

2.) I don't think, that humans should transmit at beacon, because we already sends out a lot of beacons and have done so in many years.

3.) I run SETI@home because i like to know if we are alone in the universe. And this is a great oppetunity to be a little drop in the big ocean of sience.
