Personal background
My Personal Interest

During the course of my life I have developed a great many interest that I pursue to various degrees at various points in time. At a particular point in time if I am not actively engage in a particular interest, I keep up with new developments in that field when possible.

I divide my interest into two groups. The intellectual and those interest that require physical involvement.

Physical Interest

Biking - I have road a bicycle all my life. I have found it more pleasurable than most forms of exercise. ( I enjoy it so much I do not consider it exercise. )

Hiking - I love to hike in various environments so that I can see those things that live in that environment, and to stretch my survival skills to their limits!

Ocean Skills - Which include swimming, body surfing, and diving

Boating - In all its forms. Canoeing, sailing and power boats.

When boating I usually am fishing, diving, exploring new waterways, and just plain having fun.

Fishing - Both salt and fresh water fishing in all its forms. Some of which include bait fishing, plugging, fishing from shore, from a boat, night fishing, below freezing winter fishing, etc., etc.. (even spear fishing)

Intellectual Interest

Science - I have an unending curiosity about (pretty much) all the sciences.

Reading - Love history; to me reading about history is like reading about some fictional story. Then there is science fiction; can't get enough of it!

Photography - I take photos mainly of natural scenes and places that I go. Night photography however is my favorite. I love taking pictures in the dark, making them come out just the way I want them to. Using time exposure to produce a picture that has just the amount of light in it, that I desire.
