| I am a 35 yr old tattoo artist from Virginia.I have always been an avid fan of science and sci-fi.Among my favorite writers I always include Douglas Adams ,because he had such a quirky view on human nature as it pertaines to the universe that surrounds us.If you should ever find yourself filling out a form and they ask for your race please be honest and mark other seeing as how they always forget to include human in the list. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I first found out about SETI when I was watching shows on the UFO investigations and project blue book. It seems that this is a project that every person with a computer ,and any question one way or the other about other intelligent life in the universe ,should get behind and help out.
There are many arguments on both sides with each having merits to back them.Will we find friends or foes.That is something that only time will tell.However if we don't try all that we can we will never find anything.As humans it is in our nature to investigate everything that is put before us.
I find it laughable that someone could look into the night sky and think that we would be the only life out of everything that they see.The answers are all out there ,and by working together we will find them. |
