My opinion on existence of extraterrestial life? Hmm.. There's GOT to be intelligent life somewhere, since there doesn't seem to be any here!
Heh, no seriously: some scientist say that the birthing of life on Earth was a very unlikely coincidence and the repetition of same circumstances is next to impossible. Well there's a hell of a much space there and the odds of, say ten billion to one don't matter much in the context of the universe. In my opinion the odds of there being other life-bearing planets are a lot better than there being none. To think that life, or even intelligent life is unique to this world is a bloody selfish and arrogant opinion. 'nuff said, keep listening SETI-people! |
