I am retired USMC,and currently working for a small Police dept in North Carolina.My hobbies are model rocketry , and Astronomy.I have been interested in space since the Mercury program through landing on the moon.Looking through my 6inch reflector on clear nights are my favorite moments.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Yes I think extraterrestial life exists. Either by our radio signals or space probes.2.Yes we should reach out to other civilizations . I think the benifits would far outway the danger.3.I run SETI at home because I want to contribute to finding extraterrestial life. I think the program makes sense,and with budgit crunches why not get private help.
