When I was much yonger I used to think I was an alien myself due to my handicap, Now of course I know what I am ;-) Not an Alien, but someone who would like to encounter them if, one day, it become possible. So, do as I do, offer your CPU time to try to find our futur friends out there ...
Hey, You Aliens, If you can read this, do not hesitate to contact us, human race is wierd, somewhat brutal and often stupid, but some of them are gentle guys and are seeking other living form to share knowledge !

Seti is a way of life, hope it will continue at least until we find something or someone . The danger I don't know, what is best ? Contact Aliens , friend or foe, or ignore a possible dangerous race until they come here as foe ?
A beacon ? Yes of course we should emit beacons, but I thought it was already done with Voyager isn't it ?
I run Seti at Home in order to help the project to find , who knows, future friends maybe, or to prevent great danger by knowing there are dangerous living forms ? Both of them in fact ...
Benefits ? Science, knowledge, our past maybe, everything is possible depending on what we can find out there ...
