The reason i run SETI@home is because my friend brian wanted me to. I dont think it even works. As far as i knew the SETI program was closed years ago do to insufficient funds, which means the satallites are no longer active. So i think the data we are getting is either the same patterns run over and over, or old data that is saved from when the SETI program was active.
