| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes I do think et life exists. How we will discover it, can only be by pushing ahead to build spacecraft with faster engines so we may at some point be able to travel the galaxies. I do not know if an et will ever show up here on earth, but wouldn't it be grand! My only concern is that if something like that did happen, someone would probably show hostility towards it.
2. Yes I think that a beacon would be a good idea. That's what we are listening for (in a manner of speaking), so why don't we make it easier for them.
3. I run seti@home on my business computer on my desk as well as on my computer at home. I think this is a worth while project and we should keep it going as long as we can. Hopefully we'll get a break someday. |
