Yes, I absolutely believe that non-terrestrial life exists...in my eyes it's virtually impossible for it NOT to somewhere in the Universe. However, given the expanse of the Universe, I don't know that humanity ever WILL discover it. I think that we need to strive to expand our environment in the galaxy by moving outward and continuing to explore. I don't think that we should even worry about things like possible benefits and dangers: we need to explore for the sake of exploration. As minor a part as this computer plays in the analysis of data searching for candidate signals, I'm glad to be participating.
