I live in Ft. Lauderdale Fl. I am 40 years old and have been in telecommunications/networking for 15 years. My hobbies include model airplanes, fishing and slot cars. I enjoy being on the computer for about 1-3 hours a day depending on my schedule. I have helped in developing SNMPv1 with the IETF and also RMON I and II. A friend e-mailed me about the seti@home project and I thought since the Sparc Ultra 10's were sitting there I would pitch in. I also like the group sign ups. It is always nice to be part of the group.
"Guess what group I signed up for" :) hint: it has something to do with when I was growing up...Well I am really not that good at this. I am an engineer not a writer....
Have fun everyone

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
If you think we are the only life in the universe, then you have a very narrow mind. There has to be life out there. I think it already has been discovered but covered up. Think about the impact a space person would have on the planet. Our religions would be false!!! That would crumble alot of cultures
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
