Yes, other intelligent life forms exist. Humans will discover such intelligence when they look in the correct direction. I suggest you look downwards, not upwards. The dangers are great for man has a greedy nature, a punishing nature which we have seen in his past. Hue/men should not send a 'becon', rather they should dig.
I run SETI@home so that you may become aware of your errors in searching in the wrong direction.
